A silver Sunday with Pan Pastels ...

Firstly, forgive my photos as they really do not show the sheer shimmery effect the silver and pewter pan pastels give my card.

I have used the Doily 1 mask  (which is 6"x6" in size) as the main focus as when embossed on to the card, it looked like a snowflake (to me)!

Mask stencil 6x6inch Doily1

I first coloured my card with the pewter pan pastel and sealed it with a rather cheap (and very smelly ... yuk) hairspray. I did this as I did not want to lose any of the colour on my card when embossing the stencil. I then higglighted the embossed areas with teh soft silver pan pastel.

I cut a frame using my spellbinders dies and embossed the frame with the same mask and again, used the soft silver to highlight the raised areas.

The baubles were stamped using versafine and then I carefully went around all the edges with the pewter pan pastel and added a little soft silver to the centre.

I have added some wool I found in my materials box to hang my baubles at different lengths. My card didn't take long to make but the photographing was a nightmare ... lol. However hard I tried, I could not get the shimmery effects of the metallic pan pastels to shine through!

Well gotta get organised as have loads of school prep work to complete this week and I want to get it finished so I can then play with all my goodies. Have a great Sunday everyone and I hope the impending storm does not affect anyone .... batten down the hatches ...,
