CAS with pan pastels
Oh my it's Sunday and that means back to work for me tomorrow after 2 weeks off. I am already dreading the thought of the alarm going off. However am looking forward to hearing about the children's Christmas adventures.
As I said yesterday I am not setting myself any New Year's resolutions but instead goals. Now one of my goals this year is to be braver around CAS projects. I just don't know when to stop and before I know it, my CAS idea becomes a multi-layered over embellished project ... lol.
So with an idea in my head, I made sure that the only thing on the table were my pan pastels stamps, ink pads, embossing powder and of course, card stock. I am convinced that if my eye cannot spot anything else, I cannot use it on my project. Have to say it was hard as once I had finished, my hands were desperately itching to stick something else on .....
As you can see, I had three attempts at my card using the same stamps sets but changing the colours. All my backgrounds were created the same way .... randomly daubing a Versamark pad on the card front and then layering different pan pastel colours down. I blended the colours with the new colourless blender.
The next colour way ...
... and the final colour way ...
The sentiments are rub ons from Royal and Langnickel (called "Motivate Sentiments") which I have had for eons. Not sure why I haven't used them before especially as so far, I adore these sentiments. Watch this space as I definitely use up the rest ...
Domestic goddess duties today as Christmas is packed away and I do need to try and organise myself ready for work tomorrow.

Where has the last two weeks gone? I have to remember to set the alarm tonight - it has been bliss not having to rise at a given time but heyho...back to work tomorrow.
