Anything but square
WOWsers where has this week gone? It has raced passed me and I'm sitting here scratching my head trying to remember what I did when. All the days have blurred in to one. Gosh, I do hope that this phenomena is not an age related thing ... eek! At least it's a Bank Holiday weekend but that is jam packed full of activities too as Mum is coming to stay. I wonder if she'll notice the lack of house work ...!?!?!
It's inspiration post day over at Polka Doodles Challenges for the current theme of "anything but square" and I have used the NEW Twiggy and Toots collection to make an easel card ...
I have used one of the frames to create my card blank/easel design. The front panel has been layered with different journal frames. On one of the journal cards, I have cut an aperture so that Twiggy can peek through.
Around this frame I have added oodles of flowers and leaves, plus a few twiggy bits which can all be found on the CD/download. All the elements have been layered up to create dimension.
On the base panel, I have added a piece of background paper to co-ordinate with Twiggy's frame and another sentiment frame, (raised with 3D foam pads).
Right better organised as my Mum is flying in today and still have a few bits to organise before I go and collect her.
Have a great weekend everyone,
Lou
