Chalk board stamps ...... adore!

One of the things I realised a while back is how few Christmas cards I have made this year and with the deluge of Christmas adverts now on the TV, I assume that it is now not long away, (hee, hee, hee)! So rolled up the sleeves and got making ...

I created the background using The Christmas Tree stamp on to white card. I added white highlights with pencil and then added white embossing powder to look as if snow is falling. Next using one of my favourite Christmas stamps (from Polka Doodles) as the main focal point. I stamped the chalk board design on to kraft card and coloured with white pencil (Lyra Rembrandt Polycolour) with extra decoration using Nuvo Crystal Drops.

The little pine cones were cut out on my Craft Robo and layered up. I add a snow effect using white embossing powder. The gems you see at the bottom were originally a pink colour, so I covered them with Versamark and then added copper embossing powder.

The poinsettia is from Premium Art Brands and I have stamped it with versamark and then embossed with white embossing powder. I then layered it up adding extra leaves. The wonderful pearl in the centre was an embellie remaining from the recent stamp kit from Polka Doodles; it works beautifully.

So that's one card down, just another 50+ to go ........! I hope you all are a little more organised than I am with your cards ...

Lou
