Find your own Paradise ...

The ever so talented Nikky Hall from Polka Doodles is on a roll with her new stamp releases and this time I have been playing with Tropical Flowers Flamingo stamp set with my distress inks to create a simple stamped layered card.

The Flamingo image was stamped on to water coloured card and coloured with Picked Raspberry distress ink. A little blue shading around the outside, mated on to black card and it was finished.

For the next layer I used one of the leaf stamps and stamped this and the bottom layer at the same time with Peeled Paint. Using the same ink, I coloured in the images. I left a space at the bottom to stamp the sentiment. The flowers were also stamped on to water colour card, coloured and then cut out, layering them on to the card.

The extra pink flowers were from the same set, coloured with Picked Raspberry distress ink. I wanted to add a little more pink to compliment the flamingo ... (as you do ... hee, hee, hee)!

A day of catching up for me and creating the obligatory long "to do" list to make sure I do not miss anything out!

Have a great week everyone,

Lou
