Shake it Heffi-styleeee ...

Oh my oh my ... just decided to update my blog as it's been neglected a wee bit, (large understatement) and came across quite a few projects that I haven't shared. So my mission over the next few days is to share them with you all and start 2017 with NEW projects. Not sure if this will really be the case but it's worth giving myself a goal or two.

Well one of the main projects I have neglected to share was the release of a set of new stamps and dies ... and boy oh boy are the accessory dies going to be a firm favourite of mine for a long time. Versatile, fun and suitable for multiple occasions, so I apologise now if I get carried away using and sharing them.

So what are they you ask ...

Marmalade is a wonderful new collection of character stamps from Tonic Studios and is made up of versatile characters with FIVE different accessory sets. I had great fun playing with the collection and it was introduced to you all by the very talented Hels Sheridan on Create & Craft TV. Well before I share my project, let me re-introduce to ...

Henri and Heffi

Minnie and Marmalade
I have made a shaker card paper piecing the adorable Heffi ...

I began by sticking my paper down and then created the aperture with my circle layered dies and created a frame using the scalloped circles and Celtic circle dies. Heffi has been stamped multiple times, shaded with my Nuvo pens and then cut out and layered to give a 3D effect.

The papers are from the Simply Blooms paper pad (also from Tonic Studios) and make Heffi look so cute. The bow has also been stamped and then cut out with the matching die.

Also from the accessory sets you'll find some presents, balloons and flower bouquets (to name but a fraction of the accessories), all with matching dies. I've stamped, coloured or paper pieced the extras and added them to the front of the card. The sentiment is also a Tonic Studios die and is placed on a circle mat on the inside of the card.

As I have LOADS of projects to share, I'm going to try (!) and keep my descriptions short and to the point but as a born waffler, that might not always happen ... giving you all fair warning ...

A tidy up day here, (boring) and then a blog catching up session tonight. I do love visiting everyones blogs and can while away many hour.

Have fun with what ever you are doing,

Lou
