Twisted Tuesday new DT and blog hop

Well I have some news to share with everyone today .... I got on to the Twisted Tuesday DT .... yea me !!!. So really chuffed as there is a wealth of talent on the DT and I am looking forward to working with everyone.

This week challenge is "A girls best friend" and the "Twisted DT" would like you to make a girly project however there is a TWIST .....
  • THE TWIST ~ Make your project about friends. It can be a scrap page with friends in the pics, a sentiment about friends on your card, an image with 2 people (or person with an animal/pet), etc. As long as there is a friend theme.
Here is my 1st ever Twisted Tuesday DT card and I made it for my friend Maria. The colours were inspired by the decor in her new conservatory ...

Papers: Teresa Collins fabrication pad - canvas
Vellum quote, flower & butterfly - K& CO
buttons, string and glitter leaves from stash
letters were given to me ages ago
Woodware corner punch

The tag is recycled from a recent clothes purchase and was just the right length for this project. I have just covered it in that scrummy paper, the flower & butterfly. I was going to ink the letters but after a "dry run" decided they looked better kept "eau natural" (as it were).

Now to celebrate the new DT arrival, Twisted Tuesday are having a blog hop and there are loads of prizes on offer and also additional chances to win prizes. For every blog you comment on, you are put in to the "hat" as a potential prize winner and if you comment on all the blogs, that will give you over 14 chances to win ..... not bad odds.

Now the order of the blog hop is as follows:
1. Jeanette
2. Tracie
3. Carol
4. Vickie
5. Lori
6. Lynne
7. Lizzie
8. Lou (ME)
9. Andrea
10. Deanne
11. Hillary
12. Jamie
13. Majo
14. Melina

Now if you get lost at all or unsure of how a blog hop works, pop back to the Twisted Tuesday challenge blog, were everything is also explained etc.

Have a great hop everyone,

to add:  comments situation all sorted ..... finally! Thank you for your patience x
