Oh no, Heffi is framed ...!

A different make from me today using Heffi from Marmalade's World to create a circular picture frame decorated with Twisting Arch Dot & Drop die ... I have used the layering circle dies to create the different layers of card making sure that there was an opening for the photo or picture to easily be added. On the larger circle I have used the Twisted Arch Dot & Drop die around the circle and I think it does an excellent job of extenuating the frame. To co-ordinate with the colours chosen, I have used Wedgwood Blue & Buttermilk crystal drops.  Heffi has been stamped with Metro Grey and then coloured with my Nuvo Creative pens. I've tried to go for a soft feel with my colouring as I think Heffi then stands out against the frame. The matching 'ABC' blocks are from the Marmalade's World Accessory Set 1 and have been coloured to match Heffi.   Heffi has been added to her own circle backing which was a deliberate plan as these circles help k

BLOG CANDY ALERT * * * BLOG CANDY ALERT * * * BLOG CANDY ALERT Before I share todays project with you, please can I remind everyone that I have a wonderful set of stamps from Polkadoodles as a blog candy giveaway.   You can find the post and all details about how to enter HERE . Also I am happy to ship worldwide ... * * * * * * * * * * Unlike my previous Polkadoodles Christmas cards that I have shared this week, I've gone a wee bit minamilistic ... well for me, it is 😆😉 and I've used the Christmas Santa Claus image again but coloured in more modern traditional colours ... The sentiment and holly leaves are from the same collection and have been layered to appear as the ending of the frame - in truth, Santa

Sharing another project using the Festive Dogs stamp - from Festive Friends stamp & die collection - to create my card which was another of my projects for the recent launch on Hochanda. I began by layering some plastic netting - from where I git I do not know - and then a border of patterned paper. Next I stamped the Circle Bauble and coloured with traditional Christmas colours using Nuvo Brush Script pens, die cutting the bauble out with the matching outer die. On a white piece of card, I cut an outer bauble only, layering my coloured bauble on top. After deciding which 'jaunty angle' I would use, I stamped the sentiment. The '25th' was made using 'Buildables Birthday Numbers' die set. I stamped the cute dog image on to water colour card and had great fun colouring him in with my Nuvo Brush Script pens. I even added some glitter to his hat which sadly doesn't show. The added extras are from the Gingerbread House die set and I cou
