' I'm happiest when I'm with you' hanging heart decoration

In the 'Love Is' kit, you receive a wonderful selection of ribbons and trim but here was my dilemah ... I wanted to use them on a project but I also wanted to be a little bit stingy too! They were so lovely, I didn't want to use them all at once. I also used the chipboard hearts and paper heart die cuts too creating a hanging heart decoration ... The chipboard hearts were covered with the paper hearts and any excess paper cut away. next came the glitter hearts and finally the ribbon & trims. I've layered the ribbon and trims  either over each other or in different directions - on the larger heart - but placing them in the centre on the two smaller hearts. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz's Small Thoughts sticker pad, which has been cut up and placed on the larger heart. As a finishing touch, i joined all the hearts with twine and added a few gems. Have you been and visited the Bubbly Funk Facebook page to share all your makes? If not, pop over, say 'hi

Upcyced box using Tropical Underworld & Tropical Oceans clear stamps from Polkadoodles

It's a new month which means another new challenge over at Love 2 Create Challenges  where anything 'creative/mixed media goes' and I decided to alter a box - which I have had for eons, which also lived in a box waiting to be altered. Can you see a pattern here 😉 Now this is a long post, with lots of stages, so please bare with me .... The box originally housed a phone and was really sturdy so I knew it would withstand lots of crafty abusive with mediums etc and it totally lived up to expectations ... Beginning by using Stitched Circles and Scenic Landscape dies - in different sizes and using various scraps of textured white card - adding to the box, covering everything with a good dose of gesso. The goal was to create areas than I could put my images in to and also waves/currents under water.

Hi everyone, popping in on this cold snowy day to share another of my projects created by using up different elements from the January 'Seeing Stars' and February's 'Love Is' Through the Letterbox kits from Bubbly Funk. This time I decided to make a pretty girly mixed tag ...
