Colouring and creating backgrounds with Nuvo Crystal drops - TONIC THROWBACK THURSDAY

Morning everyone and Happy Thursday. So what have I chosen to share with you this TONIC THROWBACK THURSDAY and believe me I have a few projects to choose from! After much 'faffing' and indecision, I'm sharing a card where I have used Nuvo drops through a stencil and also to paint my images. This card was originally made for Tonic's 1st birthday on Hochanda in April! A wee while ago ...

Memory Book 1 - Seaside Abum (part 2) - TONIC THROWBACK TUESDAY

Last week on my TONIC THROWBACK TUESDAY post I shared the first part of my memory album made using the memory Book 1 dies - see post HERE. Today I am sharing the remainder of the book with you. The album: Right let's begin where we left off ... page 4 & 5 Page 6 & 7 Page 8 & 9: Page 10 & back cover: As I said in my previous post, Jodie has compiled a video of my album and that is another way to view all the interactive pages. Check out Jodie's 'Making Memories with Jodie' on FaceBook, going to the video section and you will see my album plus loads more inspiration. Details below: Did you manage to get these very popular dies? Leave a comment with a link with your project as would love to see how you have used them. Right off I go to prep Thursday's throwback post so will catch up with you all later, Lou x x x Products used: Pinterest

'Dream' with Nuvo Shimmer Powders - TONIC THROWBACK THURSDAY

Another Thursday and another TONIC THROWBACK THURSDAY post and this week I've decided to share one of the cards I made using the Nuvo Shimmer Powders launched by Paula in April for Tonic Studios 1st birthday on Hochanda.

Memory Book 1 - Seaside Album (part 1) - TONIC THROWBACK TUESDAY

Yep, still going through all my projects that I've yet to share and found all these photos. I made the album for the launch of the Tonic Studios Memory Book 1 die collection. I've split the posts otherwise it would be too photo heavy and way toooooooo long 😉 Below is the albums front cover and I have gone for a sea theme - I am very partial to anything nautical whether blinked to the beach or underwater. I've created the album body using the biggest die and all the pages have been attached using a spine, (my preferred way).

Polkadoodles Posy Doodles stamps & papers - Special Times

Before summer finally leaves us, I thought it would be great to create a few summer themed or with a summer vibe, cards. This is very easy to do when you use the Posy Doodles papers & stamps from Polkadoodles because all the colours are warm, bright & inviting. There are two Posy Doodles kits to choose from but I've mainly used 'Splash of Summer' ...

Legacy keeper Dies from Tonic Studios

Well it's definitely been a busy 10 days for Tonic Studios as the company celebrates their 17th birthday. Jodie and Paula have been demoing like crazy on Hochanda and must now be completely 'explained out' 😌😍😁. The Legacy Keeper die set was this weekends, Weekend WOW and the last new launch of the birthday celebration. Below is one of my projects using this very versatile die collection ...

Legacy Keep Dies from Tonic Studios to make an album page.

Hi everyone. Have you been enjoying Tonic Studios 17th birthday celebrations on Hochanda? Oh my goodness, so many wonderful die collections and Nuvo products to choose from, each as much fun to 'play' with ... oh yes they are, trust me 😏😍😉 This weekend, Jodie is launching a set of dies called 'Legacy Keeper' which are part of the Memory Book range. For my first project share using these dies, I have used them to create an album page for this album - made using Memory Book 2  ...   The front is decorated with the new Treasured Tome A4 embossing folder creating an embossed acetate layer on top. Gotta go off topic here and say did you see Jodie & Janice trying to pronounce the embossing folders name? So very funny ...! Okay, back to the album ... I often create an acetate layer to act as a protective cover to the front of my albums especially if you have a photograph on the front.

Colouring with Nuvo Crystal Drops - Just to say 'Enjoy' - TONIC THROWBACK THURSDAY POST

I have set myself the goal of endeavouring to share all my DT projects on my blog and with that in mind, thought that if I set up a regular weekly post, to publish on the same days, it would hopefully, (fingers crossed), help me achieve my goal. Next what to call the posts and after much uummmimg and aaaahhhhing, I was still no further forward. In comes youngest son, rolls his eyes, tuts and then says over his shoulder whilst leaving the room ...  "It's obvious mum: Tonic Throwback Tuesday or Tonic Throwback Thursday. It's simple alliteration!" Well that's me told! However he does have a point and yep, it does work with my initial idea. Now as I have quite a few, (coughs), projects to share, I'm going to have a 'throwback' post on both Tuesday and Thursday. Who knows might have shared all my outstanding projects by the end of 2018 ... I did say might ... Here's the first project ...

'Daisy Friends' from Stamping Unicorn & Polkadoodles

Today I'm sharing a project that I did make a wee while ago but sillily forgot to share, & blog about, using the divine 'Daisy Friends' clear stamp from Stamping Unicorn, which is exclusive to Polkadoodles.

Have a Beary Great Day - Beary Cute Critter dies from Polkadoodles

With determination and now a wee bit of a numb bottom, I'm starting to go through all my photos to create blog posts sharing my projects. Today's project is using the adorable 'Beary Cute Great Outdoors Critter die set from Polkadoodles.

Polkadoodles One Day Special - Gingerbread house with a twist ...

I thought today I would share one of my projects using the Polkadoodles 'Winter Wishes' clear stamp set which was launched on Hochanda as a 'One Day Special (ODS)' by Nikky Hall. I've decided to create a different style of card base using the Polkadoodles 'Fanciful Circles' nesting die set ...

Explore, Dream, Discover - Mixed Media Dies

I'm a great fan of mixed media as I find it's one of the times I can truly relax when creating as there are no rules to follow; only the ones you make. It's a wonderfully liberating way of mixing random items, ephemera, fabric scraps, natural items etc and no one tells you 'no' - everything can, will and always works together. Morphing random items, paint or inky techniques, stencils, stationary is all part of the fun - just loose yourself in the process. Saying all the above, we now have another arsenal to add to our mixed media goodies, NEW mixed media dies from Tonic Studios being launched on Hochanda. These dies chomp through a plethora of materials allowing you & I to create even more items to use in our projects - squeals with delight! So without further ado, here's one of my projects using the new dies ...
