Colouring with Pan Pastels

OMG ... I am late getting my post "live" as I overslept this morning.Normally I am up and dressed really early but today, I slept in until 11.20am. When I looked at the time, I thought my clock had stopped, so looked at my phone ..... WHAT ... NO WAY! Panic did set in as we were meant to meeting people for lunch at 12.30. Seriously, I can't remember the last time I slept in and think it was probably before the arrival of the boys. Should add too, that I wasn't even out on the razz last night either! Okay, back to crafting business ... the DT over at Pan Pastel Challenges have been playing around with their pan pastels a little differently this challenge as we have used them to colour our images. I used a cute Mo Manning image (Winter Fairy Talva) to colour up as this is my first real attempt using pan pastels as colouring medium. If I am 100% honest, I had to colour the image first with my Promarkers to get an idea of colours and then again with my Prisma pencils .

"Secret Santa" time over at Polka Doodles

We've gone all "Secret Santa" at Polka Doodles for the next two challenges as we wanted to make our last challenges of 2014 a little bit different with the festive season looming. Each of the DT has made a card for someone else on the DT but nobody knows who is making for whom ... hee, hee, hee. I have used the adorable Hollybobs Mistletoe image (found on either the Hollybobs CD or as a separate download) for my card. He has been coloured with Prisma Pencils. NOW as an added bit of fun , visit each of the DT blogs and have a guess, using the clues, as to whom they may have made their project for ....  leave a comment on their blog  with your idea and you could be in with the chance of winning a prize of a wonderful Polka Doodles digi image. We will randomly chose 3 DT blogs (names in a hat thing) and then randomly chose a comment from each blog and the winning comment will each receive a Polka Doodles digi image. So my card has been made for ...... Clue 1
