Art journal pages using Fairy images - same design, different colours - Polkadoodles Serenity Fairy images

I think it's absolutely fabulous when we can take the same image and push it as far as possible. This is what I really wanted to do with Polkadoodles Serenity Butterfly Dream stamp. I created a double page spread in my Dina Wakley mixed media journal to show case the same image side by side but both are in completely different directions.

A quick journal page using Distress Crayons & Stampers Anonymous stamps

Following a recent show on HOCHANDA where Distress Crayons were part of the line up, I knew when I got back home, I simply had to play with them some more. So rather than unpack all my stuff properly, I only unpacked what I needed to create the following art journal page ..

Gelli Arts March Printing Challenge - "The Beach"

Gelli Arts are celebrating March with a printing challenge & each day in March has a new theme. You can see the previous days themes by the Gelli Arts DT/Artists over on the Gelli Arts Instagram page - @gelliarts .  Alternatively follow the hashtag - #MarchPrintingChallenge. Today is my turn as a Gelli Arts Artist & I chose the theme of "Beach". Well you all know that I do rather love a sea theme of any kind, so when this came up in the schedule, I had to snaffle it. I was so inspired, I didn't stop at one project but made 3! More details below including a link t my YouTube video showing step by step process.

Forget all the rules and just create ... Polkadoodles mixed media stamps & Sakura pens

I simply adore that quote - forget all the rules & just create. A perfect reminder to just go with the flow, don't over think it & see where you end. I think sometimes our pursuit in trying to get the perfect finished project, means we forget the fun of creating in the first place. The quote is from Polkadoodles Weirdre Just Create stamp set. I've used it to create 2 very similar tags because ... well couldn't decide whether the frame or arrows were better!
