I just can't seem to stray away from these stamps for too long ... they call me back like a "Sea Siren" although I don't really  resist their urge. I now want Nikky to make dies to match them so it speeds up my making process ... hint, hint Nikky ... ! I haven't played with my pan pastels for absolutely eons and challenged myself today to get them out and have some fun. This is what I came up with ... I masked off the centre of my card and used  the pan pastels to create the background. I have over stamped with Versamark which removed the pan pastels and left a relief. Next I used a stencil and a rubber to create even more bubbles. I then went in again with the versamark and stamped some more images but this time embossed them. Next came the images and I have used a selection from both the Tropical Underworld and the Tropical Oceans stamp sets. My images have also been coloured with pan pastels and I have mainly used the colours from the mixed media set.

Not sure why I added the "ooohhh, la, la" but that was what was in my head when I typed my title, so I've just gone with the flow. Be grateful I'm saying it in my head as I'm the words are being spoken in my worst Inspector Couseau impersonation! As you are probably aware, Tonic Studios released a wonderful new collection of stamps and dies called "Marmalade's World" and so far I have shared 2 of my projects using Marmalade and Minnie and now it's time to say hello to Henri ... Oh my it was a cold walk with dog and think at this rate I'll be trying to squeeze thermals under my clothes! Normally when you're on the move, it's not too great a problem but today there was a distinctive extra nip in the air. Need to also look for a new hat as mine is looking very sad for itself however I'm not sure I suit hats, so shopping for one will be a chore ... ! Today on Create & Craft TV, Tonic Studios launched a new collection called "Marmalade's World". It consists of character stamps, accessory stamps and matching dies. Here is another one of my projects but this time using Minnie ... I began by cutting out the three circles from a piece of white card (slightly smaller than my card base), with my Celtic Circle layering dies and mounting with 3D foam on to my card base.
