Tonic Studios Tiny Treasured Tome - embossing the die to create a card

Tonic Studios recently had a wonderful "One Day Wonder" called " Tiny Treasured Tome " which creates the most beautiful little box and cover. However don't be fooled by the finished projects size as there are so many things you can do with the dies to create larger projects. Although my other projects have all been 3D, I challenged myself to use the dies to create a card...

Tonic Studios Tiny Treasure Tome die set - Box card with trays

Tonic Studios recently had a wonderful "One Day Wonder" called " Tiny Treasured Tome " which creates the most beautiful little box and cover. However don't be fooled by the finished projects size as there are so many things you can do with the dies to create larger projects. This time I have used the drawer part of the die set to create drawers within a box, which opens up on itself. For the life of me, I cannot remember the correct name for this time of fold, so if you know, please do let me know so I can correct my ambiguous title.

Tonic Studios Tiny Treasure Tome die set - 3D printer tray inspired wall art

Today, Tonic Studios has a "One Day Wonder" being released on Create & Craft TV called "Tiny Treasured Tome" and all the finished project does look smaller than previous Tonic Studios launches, believe me when I say, don't underestimate what it can do ...! This time I have taken the dies to create a 3D Printer Tray inspired piece which can hung from your wall, The finished piece is approximately A4 in size ...

Tonic Studios Tiny Treasured Tome die set - 3D book themed desk tidy

Tonic Studios recently had a wonderful "One Day Wonder" called " Tiny Treasured Tome " which creates the most beautiful little box and cover. However don't be fooled by the finished projects size as there are so many things you can do with the dies to create larger projects. This is my sixth project using this incredibly versatile die set and decided to make a desk tidy, to appear as if they were books ...

Turning a small 3D die in to the main feature on a mixed media canvas - with Tonic Studios Tiny Treasure Tome collection

Tonic Studios have a new release today as the "One Day Wonder" on Create & Craft TV called "Tiny Treasured Tome" and although these make smaller 3D projects, I wanted to prove that they can also make or be part of, larger projects too. With this in mind, I have created a mixed media canvas making the Treasured Tome as the centre and focal piece ...

Tonic Studios Tiny Treasured Tome made in to a three tiered box

Today, Tonic Studios has a "One Day Wonder" being released on Create & Craft TV called "Tiny Treasured Tome" and all the finished project does look smaller than previous Tonic Studios launches, believe me when I say, don't underestimate what it can do ...! I've created a three tiered decorative storage box wit a hinged lid to keep all your precious keepsakes inside. This would be a fab idea if you were giving jewellery as a present as you could put ear-rings in one, bracelet in another & necklace in the final portion ...

Tonic Studios 6" x 6" Cut & Emboss folders with the new colour palate - Merry & Bright

My goodness how the weather changes with the prevailing wind. Very over cast today with the threat of rain. I'm just pleased that the humidity appears to have disappeared ... even if only for a wee while. Now I was a lucky so & so as I received all the Nuvo goodies for the new colour launch, "Merry & Bright" and although they are centred around Christmas colours, I thought it would be fun to use them for everyday cards too. The colours are simply too beautiful to hide away until the festive season. I have teamed them with the wonderful 6" x 6" cut & emboss folders ...

Mini album & notebook made using Tropical underworld & Tropical Oceans clear stamp sets from Polkadoodles

Blooming hot here today and I am melting. I sincerely applaud everyone who has to work outside in these conditions or alternatively has to wear a uniform of any description. Watching the engineers working in the village in their hi vis tops & trousers, hard hat and heavy duty boots, I stopped my whinging as I walked by them wearing shorts and a vest top .... A long while ago, I began making a mini album and matching notebook using one of my favourite Polkadoodles stamp sets ever - Tropical Underworld and Tropical Oceans . These stamps, although 2/3 years old, are still bang on trend and incredibly versatile. They are part of the Ocenia Collection which includes A5 stamp sets, DL stamp sets, MDF embellishments and metal charms. The album is still a work in progress but I'm going to share what I have made so far ...

Tonic Studios Journal Stamp Collection - When a "TO DO" list has an arty purpose ...

Morning everyone. I have to confess that I am a real notebook freak and have oodles about the place. Some bought but most made by myself and I use them on a daily basis to record all manor of things. However, I have not really embraced bullet journaling but after being asked to make samples for Tonic Studios using their new journal stamps - Doodle Diary , Journaling Diary , Daisy Doodles & Silly Scribbles - I began researching how and why. Oh my, it was enlightening, a wee bit confusing at times but something I could see myself getting in to. One of my favourite videos I watched was a free class Dyan Reaveley gave on Scrapbook.com (see HERE ) as thoroughly enjoyed her thought process, even if I would not always decorate my journals that way. Okay enough of the waffle, I'd like to share one of my samples made for the stamps release and it is a double paged weekly spread ...

Scraps are beautiful too - using Polkadoodles papers & dies

Recently I've been very good and rather than storing small wee bits of designer papers to use another day, which in turn never seems to arrive, I'm now trying to use them straight away or alternatively add to my 'giveaway bag' which I them take down to local schools. I simply had to as I was multiplying - actually breeding 😂 - storage boxes with lots of different leftovers. Today's projects are made just using smaller designer paper offcuts and die cuts I found in a wallet. Everything is from Polkadoodles Ltd and full product list is at the bottom of this post ...

Tonic Studios Mixed Media frame dies with beautiful Wings & Things butterflies.

Tonic Studios have a sale on at the moment for all their mixed media goodies - The Magnificent up to 40% off Mixed Media Sale  ( UK, Eur & RoW  = HERE       USA = HERE ) - including Nuvo Embellishment Mousse, and whilst shopping for my favourite colours, Pure Platinum , Custard Cream & Old Linen expanding mousse, I remembered that I had a mixed media project that I hadn't shared using the following Tonic Studios mixed media frame dies: Charlotte's Frame , Clementine's Glass and Cassandra's Ventana ... ooohhhh plus a couple of butterflies ...

Starting my journaling adventure using Polkadoodles Creative Doodles collection

I am very new to the whole journaling idea, mainly because I just like to create and never think about keeping my work after making it. However we keep saying to everyone print off your photos, record your memories etc etc and this is, to me, what a journaling book is about. Keeping your projects to reflect back on, plus record your creating style(s). Do yo use journals? What do you record in them or use them for? I'd love to see how & why you have used yours. Right on to my project. I created this whimsical page using lots of elements from the Polkadoodles Creative Doodles Collection and thoroughly enjoyed myself, just playing ...
