Tonic Studios Tiny Treasure Tome die set - 3D printer tray inspired wall art
Today, Tonic Studios has a "One Day Wonder" being released on Create & Craft TV called "Tiny Treasured Tome" and all the finished project does look smaller than previous Tonic Studios launches, believe me when I say, don't underestimate what it can do ...!
This time I have taken the dies to create a 3D Printer Tray inspired piece which can hung from your wall, The finished piece is approximately A4 in size ...
MY PROJECT
I have used the main die itself and cut it 6 times from black card. Four of the die cuts, I have just created drawers/boxes and with the remaining two, I created the full Tiny Treasured Tome.
After backing my card with Vintage inspired papers, (from Polkadoodles), I began placing the Tiny Treasured Tome elements. Top and bottom are laid out the same but just flipped. Two of drawers/boxes are placed sideways, with the complete Tiny Treasured Tome upright, resting against the small side edges.
Before placing all my elements, I did decorate them as felt this would be much easier than trying to do it when they were stuck in place.
This project was a great excuse to use up lots of my "found" bits & bobs as added decoration & to keep to the vintage printer tray theme. The doors do open, to reveal treasure inside but sillily I forgot to take photos to share with you all 😕
This was a fabulous project to make as I just went with the flow but again goes to show how truly versatile this die set is - it just "screams" ideas at you.
TINY TREASURED TOME PROJECTS
I have create 6 different projects using the Tiny Treasured Tome and no two are alike. I really wanted to push the dies and see how much crafty versatility they really had. My other projects are below. Click on the photos to be taken to the relevant blog posts.
Would love to know how these dies have inspired you. Please do share your projects with me either by leaving a link on this post, or contact me via any of my social media pages - links in my "All about Me" page at top of my blog.
