Tonic Studios Tiny Treasured Tome - embossing the die to create a card

Tonic Studios recently had a wonderful "One Day Wonder" called "Tiny Treasured Tome" which creates the most beautiful little box and cover. However don't be fooled by the finished projects size as there are so many things you can do with the dies to create larger projects.

Although my other projects have all been 3D, I challenged myself to use the dies to create a card...

MY PROJECT

Using the die that creates the wonderful drawer/tray, I have embossed this in to my card blank. It left a wonderful debossed outline ready to be filled.

Using just one paper, I positioned the layer dies on to in order that the paper design still looked complete. I die cut the sentiment twice and layered the pieces on top of each other. Then using a hole punch, I added holes top & bottom to thread my ribbon through.

The ribbon has been secured behind the sentiment and then secured around the back of the card front. A ribbon bow & small heart were the finishing touches for the sentiment topper. A few extra heart panels were added to tie everything together.

TINY TREASURED TOME PROJECTS

I have created 6 other different projects using the Tiny Treasured Tome and no two are alike. I really wanted to push the dies and see how much crafty versatility they really had. My other projects are below. Click on the photos to be taken to the relevant blog posts.

Oh my, there really so much you can do with this wonderful die set. I hope all my different projects have inspired you to look at your dies in a completely different way.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects using the Tiny Treasured Tome dies.
