Mixed Signals at Twisted Tuesday
Twisted Tuesday challenge are back and raring to go with loads of brilliant challenges in 2014. We start the year with the theme "Mixed Signals". So what does that mean, I hear you mumble. Well the Twisted Tuesday DT want to see more than one crafty company represented on your creation (use items from more than 3 different manufacturers) and then there is the twist ..... use an arrow on your project.
I have raided my "precious scraps" box for my card and have used papers from American Crafts and Pebbles Inc. Wooden embellishments are from Teresa Collins, rub on sentiments from Beary Patch, ribbon from DCWV, layered panel pieces are from Kaiser Craft, flowers from ???? .... think that's everything but there is bound to be something I have missed (lol).
It is a good friends birthday very soon, so was playing with designs for her card but have now ended up making something completely different!
I hand cut the paper heart designs and use Pinflair glue gel on the back so I could place my arrow underneath. The arrow was actually too small so I had to cut it in half and then position. I then added the sentiment banner to also appear to be underneath the heart.
The other paper heart was cut from a piece of card I had remaining from my Pan Pastel DT card on Sunday. The smaller wooden heart (from Teresa Collins) has been covered with Washi Tape (from MME).
Loved this challenge as it was great to use up soooooo many precious bits on one project ..... uuummmm I think I may have to do this more often as I have several containers full of "precious scraps"!!!
