"Tag your It" with The Sisterhood of Crafters

This is my second card for The Sisterhood of Crafters as their GDT for the month of May. The theme is "Tag your it" and here is what I created ....

Boy oh boy have I struggled getting a decent photo of my card as acetate appears to be somewhat camera shy (lol). After many "shots", I finally took some that didn't have a glare across the front or were out of focus ..... a great product to work with but very fustrating to photograph.

I have used the new stamps from Premium Craft Brands for my card and kept the design very simple. The background is a Spellbinders die, which has been mounted on to acetate. The main stamped images have been cut out using an X-Cut nesting die in 3 different sizes: 2 for the images and the remainder for the inside. I have tried to layer the diecuts so they sit equally within each other on the different layers.

The images have been stamped in black (with added silver highlights from my GraphIt shaker pen). I have used my pan pastels to shade the background and also to colour my butterfly. I cut 2 tags and stamped the sentiment on to them and they have been added to my topper with white organza ribbon.

I am now hoping (fingers, toes and other flexible parts are crossed) the Blogger plays fair today and actually allows me to publish my post (without an error message), which would be wonderful.

Grey, rainy day here so settling down to a bit of reading and then some crafting this afternoon. Going to have a "me" day which are very rare recently I can tell you.
