"Things with wings" with Polka Doodles
Yep, another week of blogger issues
here, so again I apologise if my posts appear, disappear and then
re-appear. I am hoping that they appear in date order but to be
truthful, if they appear and STAY, I will be more than grateful ....
hair pulling, shouting at screen, several profanities were the order of
the day. Blogger and I are definitely going through a "rocky patch" at
the moment and if I see another error message ...... aaaahhhhhhhh!

We are in to our second week for the "Things with Wings" challenge over on Polka Doodle Challenges and the DT have created some fab projects to inspire you to join in with the challenge.
I have been inspired by Nikky to create a butterfly card after seeing her demo on Create and Craft using different butterfly stamps ...... so here is my homage to Nikky .......
I have used 3 different butterfly stamps from the Fairy Flutterby stamp range. These butterflies can be added to the girlies to create fairy wings or used as stand alone images. Here are the butterflies I have used ......
Check out the Polka Doodles shop as these sets are now on SALE at the bargain price of £3.31 per set ..... fantastic bargain as there are at least 6 stamps in each set ...... !
I have water coloured the images with my pan pastels and added white and glitter highlights using my GraphIt shaker pens. Although I have stamped 5 big images, I chose to stamp an extra one of each of the butterflies, colour them, cut them out and then add them to my card, raising them up. The sentiment is from the Babsie set of Fairy Flutterby stamps.
Have a great Bank Holiday weekend everyone,
Lou
