Water colouring with Pan Pastels
Yep, another week of blogger issues here, so again I apologise if my posts appear, disappear and then re-appear. I am hoping that they appear in date order but to be truthful, if they appear and STAY, I will be more than grateful .... hair pulling, shouting at screen, several profanities were the order of the day. Blogger and I are definitely going through a "rocky patch" at the moment and if I see another error message ...... aaaahhhhhhhh!

Over on the Pan Pastel challenge blog, the DT have further inspiration to share for the current fortnights challenge, "Floral" theme. Here is my take on the challenge using the new PCB (Premium Craft brand) stamps ...
I have water coloured coloured all the images with magenta and bright yellow green shade pan pastels and love how the vibrancy of the pan pastels is not lost when used as a watercolour medium. Also you need a very, very, very little amount of pan pastel dust to create your watercolour mix ... a BIG bonus for a frugal crafter.
I also added some metallic rich gold to cosmic shimmer to create my raised gold dots which I applied with a paint brush, (because the bristles had turned very hard on said brush), for added texture and dimension. I added further gold highlights using my GraphIt glitter shake it pen.
Don't forget to pop over and join in the challenge because each week there is a FAB prize on offer and you can still join in even if you don't have pan pastels ... another bonus!
Right, gonna get on as have loads of things to catch up on with blogger .... commenting, posting and general mooch around, so why the going is good, I'm off,
Lou
