"Frame It" with Pan Pastels
I have cheated a little on the theme at Pan Pastel Challenges this week and sort of framed my sentiment ... lol. I adore this little Spellbinders frame and just wanted to use it.
My background started as a piece of off white card which I covered with Magenta pan pastel. I then over stamped with Perfect medium and coloured the stamped images with some more Magenta pan pastel. For the off white panel, I stamped the same image and just dusted it with Magenta pan pastel.
For the bird, (Spellbinders), I cut both layers in off white card. The background layers was coloured pink (yep, Magenta again) and the top layer had a merge of magenta and orange with a coat of clear embossing powder for good measure.
The flowers were stamped and embossed with white embossing powder. I have then coloured them with magenta pan pastel .... definite theme here (lol). After cutting the flowers out, I then added die cut flowers to the centres, finished with a pearl gem.
Here is a close up of the frame. It was cut out using off white card and then coloured with ......... yep, magenta pan pastel. The top layer has also been embossed with clear embossing powder. A few extra die cuts and gems and my card was complete.
Apologies for the delay in getting my post "live" but spending unexpected time with the family this weekend (which was brilliant I hasten to add). Hoping your week is a cracking one,
Lou
