Winston meets my Prisma pencils

I was rather tempted by a wonderful set of Prisma Colour pencils by a very naughty Claire (who has a great eye for a bargain) ... such a good price that I had to have them and she didn't really have to twist my arm that much (lol). So here is my first colouring attempt using them ...

I have used the fabby sketch over at Polka Doodles Challenges for my DT card for this fortnights challenge and gone for quite a young feel to my birthday card.

Please meet Winston .... isn't he cute and adorable. I had great fun colouring him although need to practise a little more with my blending. He isn't quite so "yellow" in real life but the light here is naff so that means the light box will need to be dusted off and find a permanent place as Autumn is fast approaching.
All the elements for my card were are from the Winston Deluxe Papercrafting CD which is chocker block. You will not be disappointed and if you are in need of some inspiration for any of the Polka Doodles CDs/digi images/stamps, check out the Inspiration Gallery.

Phew, boy oh boy am I glad it's Friday as the week has been full to the rafters: good in one way as it has whizzed by but bad in another way as I am "cream crackered" and need the weekend to recover.

Hope everyone has a great weekend doing what makes you happy,

Lou
