Flower Power over at Polka Doodles ...
February is imminent .... no, when did that happen!?!?! I'm becoming obsessed with time flying and have decided that I need to set myself another goal for 2015; to record at least one event each month in order that I remember something (major, trivial, funny or sad) so I can look back and see how I enjoyed my year. In January I have recorded my birthday, a couple of new techniques I have tried and what I would like to do in February.
This fortnights theme for Polka Doodles Challenges is called "Flower Power". For my project I have used the Winston Deluxe CD to create an easel card ...
I have used Etty on my card (image called Etty's new dress), placing her on a panel and then layering her up. The backing paper is also from the CD and has cute button flowers on it.
I have placed a doily at the back of the plate and created a floral frame, using flowers and butterflies from the CD.
On the front panel, I have used one of the sentiments from the CD to create my stopper, surrounded again by flowers. The die cut flowers are from Tattered Lace called Bell Flower.
Products I have used:
pssttt..... Winston and Etty are available as instant downloads for the impatient amongst us! Just click on the links below .....
