"tic, tac toe" with Polka Doodles
That's the first week completed after the Christmas holidays and it was nice to be back at school hearing all the children's Christmas and New Year stories but now I feel as if we did not have a holiday break. One of the upsides of January is beginning to see how the mornings and nights are gradually becoming lighter again ... oohhhh, this pleases me so much.
The theme over at Polka Doodles Challenges is "tic, tac toe" and I think I may have used more than one line when making my card ... well I just needed to make sure ...! I have used the line "sentiment, more than 2 layers, embossing".
I have used Drummer Troy clear rubber stamp (now sold out) on my card, although he is available as a digi download and also can be found on the Work and Play 1 CD. I have coloured him with Promarkers and although I enjoy colouring the character, I must admit that my love affair with promarkers may be drawing to a close ... yep, Prisma Colour pencils have taken over.
The papers are from the same CD but one has been over stamped with musical notes using the stamp set. I then cut out a backing plate, randomly covered it in white embossing powder and then layered this with different sized stars. The sentiment is also from the same Work and Play CD.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and from the weather reports, we look as if we are in for a very wet weekend ... yuk,
Lou
