Collaged tag

For some bizarre, deranged moment, I decided to spend two , whoops three days clearing and cleaning. I need my head checking as the latter is something I detest with a passion. However it is done (for a while) and next task, decorating. I think it's all the prep work that is the drag, not the actual decoration itself, which I do enjoy.

Anyhow, enough of the waffle, here is my project for the "Love to Create  Challenge blog" ...

I decided to make a tag using my lots of ephemera bits I found during my tidy up session. I began by randomly adding the bits on a large tag and added a layer of Maimeri Glassy Gel.

Once the gel was dry, I first added white pan pastel and then white pearlescent pan pastel. I sealed these with a quick burst of hairspray.

Next came the fun bit ... the decorating! I used up some stickers I found, frames and a sentiment. All the frames were covered in Maimeri glassy gel and whilst wet, I added some white pearlescent dust. Once dry, I added some white pan pastel to further take the silver shine away.

The stickers were glittered using the Graph'It shake pens and dew drops created using "blobs" of Maimeri glassy gel.

Random ribbon and lace scraps added at the top and bottom of the tag. The hearts were also another find and I have covered them in white pan pastel.

A quick tag to make and was really pleased how everything came together. Even more satisfying because I managed to use up loads of "bits" although I still have several other drawers full of "bits" !!!

Right, I'm up and out early today as off to help eldest son get ready for another house move ... the fifth in four years. To say I am excited that his student day are over, is an understatement. have a wonderful Sunday everyone,

Lou
