Who doesn't love a new bag?

Well I love a new bag but am terrible for using the same bag until it drops to bits. It's the chopping and changing all my "junk" from one to the other that puts me off as inevitably, I seem to always lose something.

Well for this card, I do not need to worry about all the above ...

I created a mask for both of the bags from the Exquisite Accessories stamps and began stamping, masking and layering the images.

All the images have been coloured with the Nuvo Creative pens from Tonic Studios and I think I must have used most of the colour blend sets; sunshine yellows, royal purples, marina blues, woodland greens, rosy pinks and stormy greys. As added highlights I have used a red and black pen.

I created a band of black card to add my die cut "love" words. Before sticking the words down, I added a line of red tape; one to hold the words and secondly, to add glitter between the words ... a little bit of bling.

Okay bust day today .... RESULTS DAY! Lots of cake and TLC ready just in case,

Underwater Artist Art Journal Page using Marlene's World Collection from Studio Light

I treated myself a long while ago to the fabulous Marlene's World Collection from Studio Light and sadly have to report that it has stayed hidden in a folder since then. Finally, I had some precious "me time" and decided to get the collection and have a play around with a few of the stamps plus collage/paper piece s. It was the sentiment that really "sang to me" 😍 but not like a Sea Siren does ...! A full "how I did it" is below & also a full list of supplies at the bottom of the post.

Legacy Keep Dies from Tonic Studios to make an album page.

Hi everyone. Have you been enjoying Tonic Studios 17th birthday celebrations on Hochanda? Oh my goodness, so many wonderful die collections and Nuvo products to choose from, each as much fun to 'play' with ... oh yes they are, trust me 😏😍😉 This weekend, Jodie is launching a set of dies called 'Legacy Keeper' which are part of the Memory Book range. For my first project share using these dies, I have used them to create an album page for this album - made using Memory Book 2  ...   The front is decorated with the new Treasured Tome A4 embossing folder creating an embossed acetate layer on top. Gotta go off topic here and say did you see Jodie & Janice trying to pronounce the embossing folders name? So very funny ...! Okay, back to the album ... I often create an acetate layer to act as a protective cover to the front of my albums especially if you have a photograph on the front.

Learning to photograph my craft projects featuring Text(ures) stamps by Lou Collins

Do you know what I find the hardest about blogging and sharing on social media? Taking clear, good photographs. It really is a daily struggle & some days, the struggle can be monumental when doing photography editing.   Recently I’ve been following a few wonderful artists & a few companies, who above being creative, also share their hints and tips about how to get the best shots to show case the project you may have spent hours making.   My subject for this post is the card below …
