Getting in the groove with some colouring ...

Been feeling a little under the weather recently and to distract myself from the rounds of self pity, decided to do a little bit of colouring with my Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils and a Saturated Canary image ...

A simple and not over cluttered card from, (which I know is a rarity) and given to my niece for her birthday. Flowers simply made using heart punches with a paper flower centre.

Colours used:
Skin: Light Flesh, Medium Flesh and Light Carmine
Hair: Ochre, Burnt Ochre, Cinnamon and Raw Umber
Clothes: (TOP) Cream, Light Chrome and Canary Yellow
(SKIRT) Pink Madder Lake, Moss Green and Zinc Yellow
Boots: Pink Madder Lake and white

Right I'm off to bore myself with some day time TV and just "chill" as determined to get fit so I can celebrate my significant birthday on Thursday .... and I'll be celebrating on my blog too, so please do pop back over to see what's happening.

Catch you all later,

Lou
