Signigicant numbered birthday alert and blog candy giveaway ...!

I'm trying really hard to feel full of birthday cheer but sadly I am still under the weather ... getting frustrated, bored and cross with myself now as just can't shake the virus. However I am determined to celebrate my "50th birthday" even if it is in my PJ's with a large mug of coffee, having a good old Netflix's session.

Enough of the "down beat" and lets start celebrating ....

I'm actually not bothered about my age and will love saying "half a century" when asked my age. Thinking about the latter set me off on a quest to see how many ways you could say 50th rather than just using numbers; I was surprised ... five decades, jubilee, 5 score and ten, semi-centennial, semi century.
