Something different from Tonic Studios ...
This weekend, Tonic Studios are launching a new range of embossing powders, floral bouquet stamp sets and sentiment strip stamps on Create and Craft; I was lucky enough to have a play and help create some samples. Here is one of the cards I made for this weekends launch...
I created a decorative back panel using the sentiment strip stamp, "It's your special day", embossed with Glitter Noir embossing powder. On top of this panel I layered a small piece of red card and then a panel die cut from the Love/Believe Topper set.
Stamping the rose stamps and leaves one at time, embossing with the Glitter Noir powder, (so it was stamp, emboss, mask, stamp, emboss etc etc), I created my centre topper. Once this was completed, I cut the image out and placed it on the panel, raised with 3D foam. I then stamped and embossed another rose (on to the matching red card) and added this to my topper.
At this point I decided that my card needed something else, so stamped the rose again and several of the leaves, embossing everything with the Glitter Noir powder. The rose was placed in the lower corner with 2 of the leaves and the extra leaves, placed behind the red rose.
As a final finishing touch, I added some hearts in matching colours. I haven't added any sentiment as didn't know what I wanted as my card could suit quite a few occasions; what do you think?
I have more cards to share with you over the weekend, so watch this space,
Lou
