Just breathe it all in ...
"Just breathe it all in" ... isn't that a wonderful statement and can be applied in many different ways. Well it was my inspiration for my project for Love 2 Create Challenges and I have used it on a 10p frame I found in a local charity shop ...
I covered the frame with Maimeri white gesso and when dry, a good coating of pearlescent blue pan pastel. On the edges I have used phtalo blue pastel to add a little contrast.
Using the wonderful new stamps from Polka Doodles, Tropical Flowers 1, I stamped all the images on to water colour card and added the pan pastels with a dry paint brush, blending the colour out with water. For added protection, I covered each of the images with perfect medium and then a healthy layer of clear embossing powder.
The sentiment that gave me my inspiration, was stamped at the very top for all to see with the hummingbird. Everything was then sealed with a good coat of Mod Podge. Now all I need to do is add a photo ...
Sunday is my lazy day interspersed with household chores and if I can, I try and stay in my PJ's all day ... doesn't always go to play mind you! Have a great day doing whatever makes you happy,
