Tropical birthday wishes ...
Really pleased with myself as made another notebook ready to fill with all my Christmas and New Year "to do's". Ohhhh, I do love a notebook and never tire of them. Notebooks for school, notebooks for crafting, notebooks for notebooks ... so on and so on ... Thinking about it, I think notebooks are my real addiction - or maybe just one of them ...!
I had some papers left over from a project I made recently using the Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection from PolkaDoodles and didn't want to throw them away. In stead, I stamped on them using the Tropical Flowers 1 and tropical Flowers Flamingo stamp sets ...
I stamped as many flowers out as I could with all the left over papers and began layering them up to appear like a real tropical bouquet. I have placed them around the Mistletoe Wreath from Tonic Studios to create a shape.
In the centre of the flowers I used the waste from the Mistletoe Wreath, (which was for another project) and some Nuvo drops. As an added extra, I stamped and layered some butterflies (from same stamp sets).
The card blank is from ..... I don't know where ... found it when searching for some envelopes ... which in turn were squirrelled away in a shoe box. I do have good intentions to label boxes etc so I can find stuff easier but give up half way through as normally distracted by something I find in the boxes ...!
Rightio, must dash as need to get organised as have lots to take in to school tomorrow and must make sure I do not forget anything ... off to check my notebook ...,
