To my wonderful Wife ...
There's a new monthly challenge beginning over on the Win & Tonic Challenge blog and you can choose from four different themes ... all themes very achievable and ... there is a wonderful prize too!
So here's what I came up with for this months challenge ...
I began by stamping out my images and embossing with Nuvo white embossing powder. All the images were then coloured with Nuvo Aquaflow pens and I carried on colour to create the background too.
Using the Affections base Heart Vines dies, I only cut away the outer edges and then added the painted topper to the card front, cutting away one edge, (on the card base), to keep the heart shape.
I also used the same dies to decorate the inside of my card. I also stamped around the edges, embossed and water coloured the images.
I thoroughly enjoyed making my card and must admit, will try this technique again but with other shaped dies I have in my collection ... ooohhhh, the results are endless.
Need to catch up with my blog as it has been a bit neglected recently due to illness (mine) and various family events etc, so watch this space as I do have quite a few things to share with you.
Hope to see you over at the challenge this month and can't wait to see what you create,
Lou
