using the Lemonade Fizz collection from Polkadoodles. For this card, I used the beehive template which is one of many found in the collection.
I printed off two different papers, printing the beehive template on to one and the beehive layers on to the other. I resized the template so that it would fit an A5 card blank. I cut out the base template, stuck it to the front on the card base and then cut around it to create the shape.
The layers were inked and then matted on to kraft card and placed on top in a hickly pickledy way. I doodled around the edges adding the words "Bee Happy" every now and then. The door is also part of the template with an inked candy handle.
Using the Super Sprigs die (also from Polkadoodles, I cut out some floral elements in kraft card and inked the edges. The small flowers have been made using Flowers 2 and Cherry Blossom dies (again from Polka Doodles) but this time they were cut from the patterned paper. The bees are an embellishment from the collection which I have sized to fit my project.
Still not found the dress of my dreams fro the wedding I am going to this Saturday, so another trawl around the shops it is ...! have a great day whatever you are up to,
