Love .... using my stamps and dies together

Well we all had a wonderful wedding and the weather surpassed itself. The location my niece chose was beautiful and the weather topped off an already wonderful day. It was fabulous to catch up with everyone and much celebrating was done by all! However it was a shame that the hotel we stayed in was not as "wonderful" but even though it left a sour taste, it didn't spoil are special memories of the weekend.

If you haven't heard, Tonic Studios has moved to Hochanda and held a 10 day event to celebrate their new partnership. One of the many new releases during the event was the Autumnal Sprigs (Set 1 & 2) stamp sets, (which are part of the Bunched Bouquet collection). They make a wonderful addition and are beautiful to work with. Here is one of my projects using the stamp sets ...

I stamped and embossed the petal multiple times on to light grey card, and once on to the lemon, using all the petals to create a fuller flower. The flower was then finished by stamping & embossing the receptacle. It was also a great way to hide all my gluing too!

The leaves were stamped and embossed on to a darker grey card and used as an accent. All images were layered on to a framed screen die cut, (zig & zag and floral motif) which in turn was layered on to lemon card. 

The "LOVE" is from the Mandala stamp and matching die sets, stamped and embossed on to the same lemon card, mounted with 3D foam. I am loving the colours of this project but now want to try the design out in different colours ... warm colours next I think ... or maybe in blues and greens ... ooohhhh, decisions, decisions, decisions ....

Now I've tempted myself to go and have a play ... watch this space. Have a great day everyone,
