Using up left overs ...
A new post for as a ....
A while back I made a two different birthday cards for friends - I can't share one just yet as her birthday is not for another couple of days - using a selection of dies from Spellbinders: Marisa's Bouquet, Francesca Label & Tiny Sentiments stamp set. This left me in a bit of a quandary afterwards as I had lots of bits left over which were just too good to be assigned to the bin, so I have used them to create 2 other cards ...
I began by stamping the sentiment "with much love" down one edge of the card blank, adding the labels and finishing with a flower and layered butterflies. As an added extra, I used a few mini heart sequins and pearls.
This card uses the negative space - after cutting out a selection of butterflies for one of the projects mentioned above - and then adding the larger butterfly back in. The panels are at a 'jaunty angle' for added interest. Again one of the Tiny Sentiments has been used.
I say it more to than once (to myself and whoever might be listening), I really must try and make more CAS cards as they are so quick to make and can look equally effective as a card with 'loads' on it - my normal style 😏😉
Another thing I need to do is find an on line photograph course, especially editing side, as for the life of me, I just can't capture on film accurately. I have a light box, lights etc etc but alas, still 'okay-ish' photos ... another 'must do' to add to the rather extended list! Any advise welcomed.
