Homage to Edna ... Henri style ...

Tonic Tuesday Takeover ... part 4

Another 'Tonic Tuesday Takeover' make to share and I have to give a big shout out to Edna Taylor from the Tonic Studios design team. A while back I saw a card Edna made using the Rococo Male dies and adored the layout and colour palate, so had to use this as my inspiration for my card. Check out Edna's card HERE

Here's my take on her card using Henri from Marmalade's World ...

I think the simple layered squares make each of the images 'pop' whether a die or a stamp and thought Henri would look great nestled in amongst the sports themed dies. Using Rustic Oak Aqua Flow pen as my ink, I stamped Henri. Whilst the colour was still wet, I coloured him in to give a vintage feel.

As my only embellishment, I stamped the rosette from Accessory Set 3 with the same colour as Henri and die cut with the matching die. A simple layered card, which I think look striking.

Many thanks Edna for providing the inspiration for my design,

Lou
