I 💝 U shaker style with Tonic Studio dies

Tonic Tuesday Takeover ... part 3

Another post for my "Tonic Tuesday Takeover" and this time it's using the heart blister with matching die to create my 'lurve' themed card.

I 💝 U shaker style

I created the background paper using one of the stamp sets released at the same time - 'It's Party Time' - with Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade distress inks. With a Tonic Studios label die, I created my tag and stuck some of the remaining background paper to it. I cut an oval (from same tag set and the heart aperture to fit my blister.

I added some heart sequins to the shaker part and glued everything together. The banners were created from matching offcuts of card and stamped using the same set as before. The flower was created using the heart stamp, cut out and layered to make a flower - complete with stamen.

The alphabet is the inner part of the Clarice Uppercase set and this was added to either side of the shaker design. The leaves around the flower are made using the clouds from Reach for the stars stamp set, (also from Tonic Studios) and cut out using the matching die. A little organza ribbon to finish and a quick card was made. Believe me it looks more complicated than it actually is!
