Happy Anniversary using Bubbly Funk 'Through the Letter Box' kits ...
Today I am sharing a project made using the Bubbly Funk 'Through the Letterbox' kits from the recent January and February releases ...
I though I'd share an anniversary card I have made using up bits from my 'Through the Letterbox' kits from January's 'Seeing Stars' and February's 'Love Is' kits. You really do get oodles and oodles in each kit - which can in turn be used for lots of different projects - not just for the theme intended that month. F ... A ... B as the Thunderbird's would say ....
For my card, I have been aching to use the acrylic figures included in the February 'Love Is' kit and as Valentine's Day has been and gone, hence why I have used them to create a modern anniversary card. The only thing on my card that is not from either the January 'Seeing Stars' kit or February 'Love Is' kit, the embossed gilded background & 'Happy Anniversary' stamped sentiment ...
I have inked one of the larger doilies and then added layers of ribbon banners. Next was the note card - again with ribbon added. The acrylic figures were covered with Nuvo embellishment mousse and buffed back to still create a semi translucent feel. These in turn have been simply decorated with hearts, gems & the sentiment.

Did you notice that they are also holding hands ...
The large chipboard sentiment was coloured with Nuvo embellishment mousse and using a fine black micron pen, I added a faux stitched detail. I've used the sentiment to anchor my figures in place as I did not want any glue to show through.
As a final final finishing touch, I have added selection of wooden stars adorned with hearts and gems plus a beautiful wooden heart button. Phew, think that's it ...
Right, more photos to sort through and blog posts to write ... no rest for a crafter ... lol

Especially how you've used the acetate figures - I've acquired a few of these and other acetate shapes over the years and I never know what to do with them!
