Happy Birthday Matey using the new Nuvo Diamond Hybrid ink pads

I had great fun playing with the new Nuvo Diamond Hybrid ink pads which were launched on Thursday on Hochanda for Tonic Studios 1st Anniversary on the channel. The colours work together beautifully and for one of my projects, I created a matching birthday card and envelope.

Using the Sweet Nothings envelope die set, I created both the envelope and card decorating both with the Dressables Extras stamp set and of course, using the new inks.

I've stamped the background with various icons from the stamp set in Carrot Stick, Dried Oregano, Laguna Bay & Rich Rosewood. The main sentiment, 'Happy Birthday Matey' was stamped in the Black Shadow hybrid ink.

On the card, I've added some pirate themed die cuts which are part of the Dressables boys outfit dies. Banners were made using co-ordinating Craft perfect card.

It was really fab actually making a boy/male themed card for a change and if you look at the stamps in the Dressables collection, a whole range of boy themed cards can be made, with matching accessories using the Dressables outfit dies. Yet another idea to add to my ever growing 'to do' list  ...!
Paula is launching the inks tonight at 6pm as part of the ODS on Hochanda, so pop over and see how fabulous and versatile these cute little inks pads are.

Right, off to sort out more of my photos so I can share more of my projects using the Diamond Hybrid ink pads,

Lou
