Sent with Love waterfall card using the new Wonderfal Waterfall dies from Tonic Studios.
During the birthday celebrations, one of the die collections launched was the 'Wonderfall Die Sets' and today I am sharing one of my projects made using the 'Cascading Heart' collection.
Whilst typing the name of the collection out, I nearly called the set 'Wonderwall' which then sent me in to a raucous rendition of the Oasis song with the same name ...!
I decided to use the mechanism on its side for my card and then create multiple layers of hearts, in varying sizes, to move with each part. On the front hearts, I added a banner, then a sentiment and slightly offset so that the mechanism still worked ...
This was then followed by more hearts, again layered on top of each other and at varying heights ...
Finally, the last layer cascaded over to reveal the 'sent with love' sentiment which I placed on the pull and also tied in with other sentiments I used previously ...
Below is a photo giving you an idea of what the card will look like when opening, showing all the heart layers which are different sizes and placed at heights.
Gradually as the mechanism is pushed back in to place, the heart layers neatly rest on top of each other ... well ... almost laying down flat.
It had been an age since I made a waterfall card and thoroughly enjoyed playing with the dies which was enhanced when I suddenly realised how versatile they could be. Did you get your dies before they sold out? Would love to see what you have created so please do share.

As you pulled the waterfall open, the next layer revealed more hearts and a further sentiment 'cherish' - a Will's Hand die ...
