'Dream' with Nuvo Shimmer Powders - TONIC THROWBACK THURSDAY
Another Thursday and another TONIC THROWBACK THURSDAY post and this week I've decided to share one of the cards I made using the Nuvo Shimmer Powders launched by Paula in April for Tonic Studios 1st birthday on Hochanda.
I began by embossing the background using the 'Modern Chevron' embossing folder. Next I lightly misted the card and added the shimmer powders in Green parade, Storm Cloud & Atlantis Burst randomly all over the embossed background. To dilute the colour further, I misted again, putting it one side to dry.
Whilst my background was trying, I began creating my embellishments. The feathers were die cut in black and then covered in shimmer powder, matching the background. Putting these to one side, I added my background to my DL card blank and then created an offset circular frame
