Legacy Keep Dies from Tonic Studios to make an album page.

Hi everyone. Have you been enjoying Tonic Studios 17th birthday celebrations on Hochanda? Oh my goodness, so many wonderful die collections and Nuvo products to choose from, each as much fun to 'play' with ... oh yes they are, trust me 😏😍😉

This weekend, Jodie is launching a set of dies called 'Legacy Keeper' which are part of the Memory Book range. For my first project share using these dies, I have used them to create an album page for this album - made using Memory Book 2  ...

The front is decorated with the new Treasured Tome A4 embossing folder creating an embossed acetate layer on top. Gotta go off topic here and say did you see Jodie & Janice trying to pronounce the embossing folders name? So very funny ...! Okay, back to the album ... I often create an acetate layer to act as a protective cover to the front of my albums especially if you have a photograph on the front.

For the album I created a double sided page, backing 2 of the Legacy Keepers on to each other, joining on 3 sides only to incorporate an inner pocket which opens at the top. Below is the first page showing all the flaps closed with a decorative panel ...

Open the decorative panel to reveal a photo mat on the back and all the other flaps ...

Each flap has been decorated back & front with either white card or papers, all held in to place with magnets. Plus I just couldn't waste those wonderful letters ...!

Turning over, is another page using the Legacy Keeper but this time without a panel. This shows you can add as much or as little as you like to your pages ...

Again, if you open the panels, a large mat layer ready for a photograph ...

Jodie demo'd this page on Hochanda but added her own twist: brilliant as this gives you yet another idea of how to use them to make an interactive 'flip flap' page.

What's been your favourite product from the 17th Birthday launches? I think I've 'decided decided', then change my mind as so many wonderful items to choose from ... lol. Back soon to share more Legacy Keeper projects,

Lou

A beautifully constructed album - the black matting gives it such a sharp, modern, elegant look, especially with the bold colours and graphics of the papers you've used. Thanks so much for joining us at Mini Album Makers this month.
