Legacy keeper Dies from Tonic Studios

Well it's definitely been a busy 10 days for Tonic Studios as the company celebrates their 17th birthday. Jodie and Paula have been demoing like crazy on Hochanda and must now be completely 'explained out' 😌😍😁. The Legacy Keeper die set was this weekends, Weekend WOW and the last new launch of the birthday celebration. Below is one of my projects using this very versatile die collection ...

Taking away the decorative closure made using one of the larger layers, tags and
mixed media dies -  keys & locks ...

The main die is HUGE & completley, utterly, with doubt fills your A4 cutting plate! I've cut the base die from decorative card - from Crafter's Companion - but used the folds in a slightly different way. As you open up the book, the following is revealed ...

I have created a side pocket with the first folds and made 2 tags, with tabs, to fit inside. This doesn't have to be tags but any notes, keepsakes etc you want. On the smaller tab, I have used the wording that comes with the die set, as a decorative feature.

The middle panel has been decorated with the word die and layered with white card to add your photos. I also cut another panel in gold, insetting the gold letters ...

Finally the last panel. I have used the small circle die to create holes to thread twine through, which in turn ties up at the front.

If you open the front, it reveals a note book and photo mat area. The note book was made by taking one of hte edge dies and placing it slightly over a pieces of folded papers. Cut the number of notebook pages you want and then tie to the Legacy Keepsake book with whatever you wish; in my case Nuvo twine.

A fun way to use the dies and create a new purpose for them. Adored all the DTs samples and it was fabulous seeing all the different ways everybody interpretted the dies and their use.

Sunday means domestic goddess day and not my favourite say of the week ...,
