Polkadoodles NEW Heart Sing stamp set ... plus another GIVEAWAY
Happy mid week everyone and I'm sharing 2 cards today: one I made as a demo on HOCHANDA when the new Polkadoodles Spring Song Collection - 2 x A5 stamp sets, 2 x A5 paper kits & embellishment kit were launched with myself and Nikky Hall and the 2nd card is my original design.
Why 2 cards using the same design? Sometimes we can become 'bogged down' with ideas when we receive/purchase new crafting goodies and then our crafting mojo ups and leaves. I wanted to share that you can repeat the same design but by changing the colour, you then, have created a new project ,(because 9 times out of ten, your embellishments or finishing touches also change as they are now influenced by the colour). Lots of words (waffle), so let me show you what I mean ... here's my original card made using the A5 'Heart Sing' clear photo polymer stamp set ...
Now for the card I made on the show, I decided to do different colours and add different finishing touches ...
The layout and design are the same as the original but by changing the colours, I've then slightly tweaked the finishing touches: added different glitter & gems for example. You can see my demo here - first ever demo on HOCHANDA - either by HOCHANDA Rewind HERE or on HOCHANDA's You Tube channel HERE
My giveaway today, to celebrate both the new Polkadoodles products and also dipping my toe in to the demo role, is a brand new set of the A5 photo polymer 'Heart Sing' stamps ...
Now my challenge to you is to create a project and then recreate using a new colour scheme. It's a great way to batch make and also get a feel for your stamp designs. My other tip, is have a notebook or paper pad near you, draw any new ideas out and that way if you don't have time to make it that day, you have a project booklet to refer back to when the mojo is lacking.
Please leave a comment in the comment box below this post and one winner will be announced on Wednesday 16th January 2019. I will also be sharing this post to Facebook, Instagram & Twitter, so loads more places to enter the draw ... 😏,
Lou
