Why I blog ...

WOWsers lots has happened since the end of January and my lickle feet haven't touched the ground. Finally I've managed to squeeze in some 'me' time and catch up with the crafty blogging world. I have missed my blog fix, bouncing from one to the another to see every ones wonderful projects, learn new skills and see the latest 'must have but shouldn't really' products that would look wonderful in our craft stash. I have saved, pinned and bookmarked oodles and oodles of different sites, so I can take everything in time and again. I'm back in crafty '7th heaven'.

I appreciate everyone thinks that blogging is 'so last year' but I have to say, I adore, cherish, need my blog as it is part of me and the creative journey - the one I have travelled along in the last 10 years. It is a totally free online resource and gallery for all my ramblings, projects and myriad of photos! I also appreciate that not everyone has time to blog, but if you can, do try it as it is your online crafty, (or whatever else you are in to), diary. Okay, it is not a physical product per say but it easily could be if your printed off the posts you wanted but with the way the internet and data usage has changed, it is always with me, taking up no real space at all. At a touch or swipe or click, its there ready to be added to or it's a starting point to send me off on my virtual travels.

Recently I have not been as good a blogger as I should have been as I have loads of things to share and techniques I want to give a go, so am determined to nurture my online diary with a wee bit more tlc. Social media posts, regardless of platform, fly by and each time you visit, nothing is ever the same. Some people love it but I get frustrated as I can't really pop back and forth to visit the same thing unless I save it or trawl through post after post - yep, I'm a wee bit lazy I suppose.

I found this blogging quote whilst off on a blogging trip around the world and I think it's going to be my message to myself ...

Gonna sign off now as those bookmarked pages are calling. Going to make a coffee first and maybe grab a snack, then off. What are your favourite blogs to visit? Please do share and they don't have to just be craft related but please not gore or horror related, ohhhh and naughty fetish related either!

I really enjoyed your teaching and demos for the gel printing plates on HOCHANDA. I hope that you will do some videos on You Tube regarding gel plate printing. Thank you. :)
