Polkadoodles Heart Sing clear stamps with Bubbleicious Frames
I adore using my older Polkadoodles products with newer items because, as is the Polkadoodles way, everything works seamlessly together even if they are not from the same collection. To create my card, I have used an older die set -Bubbleicious Frames - with the beautiful Heart Sing stamp set which is part of the Spring Song collection ...
I began by cutting out the different layers of the Bubbleicious Frame dies in white card keeping some of the small circle waste. Next using the separate flower & heart stamps from the Heart Sing stamp set, I began stamping these images on to my die cuts: main frame in blues & small oval in yellows/oranges. After stamping, I inked the edges.
I made a 6" x 6" card blank from white card and added the blue stamped frame and then the smaller oval. Well I wasn't 100% sure if they worked together, so cut another oval from black card, cut it in half and added to act as a shadow layer.
I stamped the wonderful bird image, colouring to match my background layers, adding to the left hand side with 3D foam. To ground my image, I have also stamped out the leaf branches, colouring and cutting them out. However before adding them to my card, I stamped the sentiment, (also from the same stamped set), mounted on to black card, adding to the opposite side.
As a finishing touch, I stamped and coloured some flowers, adding a pearl in the centre and placed them on my card. The white circle waste bits I kept, have also been added to appear as if little flowers on the leaves.
Oh it's wonderful to see the sun and feel the warmth and it inspired me to pick the colours I have. Also rather loving the stamped die cuts too ... even if I say so myself 😉😆😍
