Polkadoodles Halloween Extravaganza - Project ONE plus another giveway ...

Yesterday I announced that for the whole of this week, I've a "SPOOKTACULAR" event running featuring lots of Polkadoodles stamps & papers with a distinctly Halloween theme and I launched my extravaganza with an "Up Close & Personal" video looking at the products I would be using in all my video projects. You can check out my first video HERE.

Today, I am sharing my first project featuring Polkadoodles "Spooktacular" & "Fab-boo-lous" clear stamp sets ...

Over on my YouTube channel, I have a video tutorial with step by step instructions HERE.

When I designed my card, I really wanted to make it as flat as possible, for posting purposes, but still appear as if there was lots happening. The background has subtle embossing and inking, with a little over stamping.

To combine the two clear stamp sets - "Spooktacular" & "Fab-boo-lous" - I have used the larger ghost image from "Fab-boo-lous" and coloured the ghost very subtly. The sentiment is also from the "Spooktacular" stamp, simply embossed in white and cut in to a banner shape.

The full video tutorial can be found HERE or by clicking on the photo below ...

 Halloween Extravaganza Project One

Also a selfish plug here ... I'd love to increase my subscriber numbers on YouTube which means I can then access more of their features, which in turn helps me produce and share better video content. I'd be really grateful if you could subscribe to my growing channel as I have lots of videos waiting to be released in the next days, weeks & months. Plug over ... but seriously, thank you 💖. You can get to my YouTube channel HERE.

If stamping isn't "your thing", Polkadoodles has oodles & oodles of Halloween digital/downloadable products from b&w images, coloured images, sentiments, paper packs, embellishments ... if fact, too many to list here, as knowing me, I'm bound to forget something 😄. You can check out the full digital/downloadable range HERE

Underwater Artist Art Journal Page using Marlene's World Collection from Studio Light

I treated myself a long while ago to the fabulous Marlene's World Collection from Studio Light and sadly have to report that it has stayed hidden in a folder since then. Finally, I had some precious "me time" and decided to get the collection and have a play around with a few of the stamps plus collage/paper piece s. It was the sentiment that really "sang to me" 😍 but not like a Sea Siren does ...! A full "how I did it" is below & also a full list of supplies at the bottom of the post.

Legacy Keep Dies from Tonic Studios to make an album page.

Hi everyone. Have you been enjoying Tonic Studios 17th birthday celebrations on Hochanda? Oh my goodness, so many wonderful die collections and Nuvo products to choose from, each as much fun to 'play' with ... oh yes they are, trust me 😏😍😉 This weekend, Jodie is launching a set of dies called 'Legacy Keeper' which are part of the Memory Book range. For my first project share using these dies, I have used them to create an album page for this album - made using Memory Book 2  ...   The front is decorated with the new Treasured Tome A4 embossing folder creating an embossed acetate layer on top. Gotta go off topic here and say did you see Jodie & Janice trying to pronounce the embossing folders name? So very funny ...! Okay, back to the album ... I often create an acetate layer to act as a protective cover to the front of my albums especially if you have a photograph on the front.
