NEW Floral Fireworks stamps from Polkadoodles coloured with Koi Brush Pens

Yesterday, (Monday 28th October), I was on Hochanda demoing the latest Polkadoodles release - Floral Fireworks 1, Floral Fireworks 2, Super Sentiments & Adalene paper pack. You can see the complete range HERE. What a fabulous show it was and I had great fun demoing these fab new products.

Today I thought it would be great to share the projects I made on the show. Here's my first project ...

WATCH THE SHOW
If you didn't see the show on HOCHANDA yesterday, you can watch it here. Wind forward to 3:01:00 to catch the launch of these new Polkadoodles range. On my YouTube channel, there are other Polkadoodles videos, featuring a whole host of different products. You can check them out HERE

My goal for this year for my growing YouTube channel, is to reach 500 subscribers, so I'd be pleased as punch, if you would subscribe. I am gradually adding more & more content.

PROJECT 1
I thought it would be rather cool to create a raised floral border using masking techniques. Once I had the design created, I have cut away the lower edge.

All the images have been coloured with Koi Water colour markers. I stamped out the floral & leaf elements again, to add them to my card front.

Next the sentiment - which Alex chose - created using the Super Sentiments stamp set & with 49 stamps to choose from, you can create a multitude of sentiments. All the backgrounds have been created loosely with water colour and a few of the accessory stamps.

QUESTION TIME: After the show, I finished off the card. Can you spot the "added extras"?

FLORAL FIREWORKS COLLECTION
The full collection is made up of 2 Floral Fireworks clear stamps, (with 14 stamps in each set), Super Sentiments, (49 clear stamps) plus the adorable Adalene 6"x6" paper pack, (24 sheets). Each of these elements can be bought separately over in the Polkadoodles shop.

BOCKINGFORD CARD
Nikky has now released a fabulous Bockingford card pack. It's A4 in size, smooth, hot pressed & 300gsm. This card is very versatile & can be used with: water colours, stamping, pencils, distress inks, oxide inks ... in fact it can be used on most of your projects. All the cards I created on this post, used the card.

GIVEAWAY
On another post, I have a Christmas gnome featured giveaway, which is open world wide. You can check all the details out HERE. The giveaway ends on Sunday 3rd November.

Well I better finish unpacking as I have bits & bobs everywhere, with my trolley stood proud in the middle of the floor area. I suppose I can't put it off any longer. Do you unpack straight away or do it in stages? I think I make the mistake of getting everything out and then the task suddenly looks huge. Do you have any unpacking tips? Please share.

Thank you ever so much for popping by & leave your blog address below, so I can come visit you.
