Designer's Choice Dies - Damask Strips - Inspiration 2
Phew, never thought I'd get to share this video for my second project using the Designer Dies for November 2019 from Tonic Studios. I thought I had uploaded it to YouTube but when I went to publish it, I couldn't find it 😳😰. After a "headless chicken dance"😱, panic averted & I found the video ... uploaded to my external hard drive 😔 Let's just say, I think I lost a wee bit of weight ...!
For my second project, I have used the Damask Strips dies with strips of card that was too big to throw away. I know I'm not the only crafter who hoards these precious bits ...

YOUTUBE VIDEO
Below is the link to my second video sharing how I created my cards & my inspiration as to why this design.
You can also watch my first video either over on my YouTube channel - Louise Sims Papercrafter - or by playing link below.
MY PROJECTS
I have used the same design on all 3 of my cards & other than use up my "strips", it was also to create quick & easy cards. Sadly we do not always get the time we wish when making our projects, & hopefully this design will help to batch create quickly.
Although the 95% of the card design is the same, the only difference is the embellishments added - Nuvo gems & ribbons to the butterflies.
Each card has been designed to be A6 in size & although layered, can sit flat inside an envelope. They also fall in to the normal postage costs - yep did try them in the PO slot thing-a-ma-jig ...!
HELP!
In my video, I have asked for your help deciding whether my cards need any further decoration. Please let me know what you think after you have watched because I genuinely couldn't decide. I have to be honest here and say, I do really struggle with clean & simple designs; this could be the reason why I cannot decide if my cards are finished or not.
My 3rd video using these dies, will be out shortly and I have decided to do something different again. Like everyone else, it's important to see how versatile our crafting tools are & I hope myself, plus the other designers, have shared lots of different ideas.
