NEW Jam Jar & Centrepiece Sentiments from Tonic Studios
Busy day here and not sure if coming or going. It's a day where lots has been achieved but at the same time, you constantly question yourself as to if anything has been ticked off ...
Now one of the things I have definitely ticked off, is to share some of my projects which will be launching on Create & Craft TV. Carley Duff will be launching the NEW Jam Jar dies & stamps collection, plus the NEW Centre Piece Sentiment die sets. Two completely different launches ... !
On my blog today, I am sharing a project from each of the new launches & have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Both launches really allow your crafty creativity to flow.
JAM JAR PROJECT
CENTREPIECE SENTIMENTS PROJECT
As soon as I saw this sentiment I just knew what i wanted to do. Quickly grabbing my Sammy Takes It Easy stamps & dies, I created my background.
I die cut the sentiment 3 times from Pewter Grey and an additional layer from black card. I layered the 3 grey layers on top of each other & used the black layer as my drop shadow. The sentiment was then placed on to vellum. As a final finishing touch, I added a layer of Nuvo Shimmer Gloss.
I then stuck the stamped, coloured & die cut images around the sentiment , using the letters as gluing points. Once dry, I added it to the centre of my card with 3D foam. All the images have been coloured with my Nuvo Aqua Flow pens.

JAM JAR PROJECT
For my card, I have die cut the main jar elements in white card, layering all the pieces together, adding them to my card front. Using my Nuvo Creative pens - 487 & 497 - I doodled a quick "floor" to ground my Jam Jar
With this collection, you get beautiful co-ordinating stamps. Using the same colour ink to create my water background - Blue Lagoon - I stamped the jar detail over my inking. For the lid, I over stamped with Soft Suede, lightly inking around the edges. it is very subtle but does add a realness to the design.
Before sticking the lid in place, I cut very fine green strips of card to give the illusion of stems & stuck these to the lid. Then it was all about adding the foliage & flowers. basically add as many as you want.
At the bottom of the jar, I have added extra flowers & foliage with a wee heart or three.
